If I experience any pain, discomfort, concern or questions during the session I am encouraged and responsible to communicate to the therapist allowing adjustments and accommodations to be made. I further understand that massage is not a substitute for a medical examination, diagnosis or treatment. Massage therapists are not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat any physical or mental illness. The licensed massage therapist reserves the right to refuse to perform massage on anyone who might have a condition for which massage is Contraindicated. Massage should not be performed under certain medical conditions. I understand and agree to keep the massage therapist updated to any relevant changes in my medical profile today and all future sessions and I understand that there shall be no liability on the massage therapist part should I fail to do so.
